This policy explains how Urban Buddy Farm (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you visit our website, book a session or buy from the Cuddle Cow Cafe or Wheely Smashed food van. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• · Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by Square. We do not store your full card numbers.
• · Anonymous website usage data (pages viewed, device and approximate location) through Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• · Respond to your enquiries and messages.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising you to third parties.

Bookings and payments through Square

Our bookings and payments are handled by Square (Block, Inc. and its Australian entities). When you book or buy, Square may create and update a customer profile from your purchases, which helps with receipts, refunds and recognising returning customers. This profile is held and managed by Square under its own privacy terms. We can see customer and booking details through our Square account, but the underlying data is stored on Square’s systems.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site. This only runs if you choose “Accept” on our cookie notice; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same. Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers we use to run the farm, namely Square (bookings and payments) and Google Analytics (website measurement). We may also disclose information where required by law. We never sell your information or pass it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Booking and payment data is stored securely by Square. Some of our providers, including Square and Google, may store or process data on servers located outside Australia.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are able to. Just contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. For data held within your Square customer profile, you can also contact Square directly.
